Our organic 50 SPF Sunscreen is all-natural, moisturizing, effective, and safe for skin or facial application.
Our Sunscreen is ideal for individuals with sensitive skin, oily skin, or other topical skin issues because of its moisturizing, conditioning, and beautifying properties. Its also baby safe, child safe, hypoallergenic, and leaves no discoloring or residue when gently rubbed into the skin aside from a glistening shine.
This sunscreen lotion is non-toxic, chemical-free, and a clean healthy alternative to most products on the market. We make it without Oxybenzone, and use only non-nano zinc oxide. Our sunscreens come in an eco-friendly 4oz glass jar with a net weight of 9oz.
This product works well, and isn't exactly like the chemical filled products you may be used to, so here are some tips:
Let your skin absorb the oils for 5-10 minutes when applying before engaging in activity, if possible.
If you're in the water/ocean, reapply upon exit.
If you're in the direct sun for more than a couple hours, reapply every 2-3 hours.
Be generous with your application, a fingertip amount is not sufficient for a high heat/high sun exposure situations.
We combine premium and luxury organic eco-friendly ingredients that naturally moisturize, while providing a mostly plant based protective barrier against the sun, with sun protection factors as listed below:

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions:
Does it leave a white film or any discoloration on the skin?
Not generally, but it depends on how much you apply, and how much you rub in. If you gently rub it between your hands before applying, it should be largely transparent on the skin.
What percentage of non nano zinc oxide is used?
Generally, we use 30% or greater for maximum protection. If you'd prefer more or less, simply let us know in your comments, and we will customize our batch to your needs.
Is this sunscreen coral reef safe?
YES! Our sunscreen is safe, and allowed on all protected beaches. Best Friend Beauty doesn't use any of the harsh chemicals banned due to their negative impact on the coral reefs and ocean life.
